A Greeting from Ina
Three weeks have passed in Ina. Since I don't have an internet access at home, I cannot upload new posts very often. So far I like my new place. My house is almost 40 years old and it's very cold in it. But it has 3 rooms and a big garden! There grow 3 trees, whose English names I don't know, one of them is my favorite. In the thick weeds, I can find some Muscali in bloom here and there. My dad visited me the other day and cultivated half of the garden overgrown with weeds. He even bought me different kinds of hoes. I cannot wait to plant vegetable seedlings. Haven't planted anything yet, I am thinking about my garden all the time. How exciting! Every day after school, I go window-shopping to gardening shops and check the gardening tools or fertilizer.
Now I have a problem. My enemies were field horsetails in my last garden, but I've found new hateful enemies here. They are bamboos. There is a bamboo grove around my house, and the roots invade my garden underground. Hundreds of big bamboo roots I dug up, but there are still many. I like bamboo as a material, but as a neighbour, it'so annoying.

Kimiko! you are in Ina now. hmmm.. you must miss Fujimi, but Ina is really beautiful too. I think maybe you will meet some cool people around there. I'm still in Vancouver, though I'm going traveling in Europe in just a month... I can't wait! Vancouver is beautiful now though, all the cherry trees are in bloom. Wish we could meet for an afternoon of tea and walking along by the ocean. Say hello to Nagano for me!
I will!
As you said, I miss Fujimi so much.
