コンサート

昨夜、矢野顕子のコンサートに行きました。茅野市民館という新しいホールで、本人曰く「最新の音響設備と照明と素晴らしいピアノ」でのコンサートでした。空席がとても多かったのが残念。このホールは本当にできたばかりで、オシャレといえばオシャレだけど、使いやすいのかと言われるとちょっと疑問。近代的なデザインのせいなのか、どこに何があるのかわかりにくい。出入り口やトイレが見つからなくてあたふたしてしまった。それはともかく、コンサートはとっても良かったです。自分の体の一部で喋るようにピアノを弾く顕子さんがとても素敵でした。その「良いピアノ」はまだ新しくて、彼女曰く「もっともっと弾きこんであげればもっといい音になる」んだそうで、リハーサルの時と比べても、本番の方がずっと音が良くなってたそうです。たんすのこやし、じゃないけれど、あのピアノも良い弾き手に恵まれて、これからもっと活躍できるといいなあ。
Last night was a concert of Yano Akiko, who is a good pianist & singer. It was held at the new concert hall in Chino. The hall is quite new, the design is kind of cool but I don't think it is very convenient because you cannot find the bathroom or exit easily. The concert was amazing. Her way of playing the piano was just like she was talking, the piano looked like a part of her body. It was pity that there were many empty seats. She said that the piano in that hall is still very young, and the sound of the piano would develop more as it is played. Actually, it made better sound in the concert than in the rehearsal, she said. I hope the piano will live a happy life being played by good pianists.
