Picked up all my finished togei works. For the first time, I went there just after firing. All the stuff were still very hot, and making a really nice sound. The sound is made because shrinking speed of the clay and the glaze is different when they are cooling down. Expressing that sound in English is difficult, it is high, faint and beautiful sound. I heard there are some people who come there to pick up their pieces while they are still hot, only to listen to that sound. Being there listening to the sound was nice. My stuff came out in a different colours from what I had expected, some are nice, some aren't. I could also see all the works made by other people, that made me feel very jealous! Oh, I want to make more things using different clay and different glaze. Can't wait till April . At night, I put all these pieces around my futon and went to bed earlier. In the dark room, there sometimes rang that sound and I felt happy.
